About Overlay

Overlay is a native macOS app. One global shortcut brings up a floating workspace of tabs, groups and nested panes above the app you are already using, including fullscreen apps, every Space and every display, and the same shortcut puts it away again.

It is not a replacement for your main browser. It is for people who keep one main task open, such as writing, spreadsheets, meetings, studying or coding, and keep reaching for the web while they do it.

Overlay is made by a small team of independent developers. We make small, focused apps for the Mac: each one does one job well and feels at home on macOS. Overlay is one of them; the others are below.
